i'm sorry....i really am,...i mean i really apologize to curlers and ice dancers and cross country skiers...and long track speed skaters... i know it takes alot of talent...i mean tons of talent and hard work to make your way to the olympic games....it truely is a remarkable achievment. but i can't take any more coverage of it!!!!!!!!!! i try, i really really try to get interrersted in the quarterfinal curling match between Austria and Holland, i can't even imagine the amount of talent it takes to skate and jump and not fall and do it all to music while wearing a body suit tighter than a fat mans undies on a really hot day, but i can't take it any more!!!! Please NBC,  please only give me coverage that leads diretly to a gold medal, no more 2-hour coverage of evants that "trims" the field to 30...give me medal performances or give me re-runs...honestly i would rather be watching the Office or 30- Rock than most of these events. And where are some of the classic winter sports that we have around here or that we used to watch on the old Wide World of Sports? was there anything more exciting than the World championship of Ice Jumping from Oslo? anybody remember that one..skate and then  jump over barrels...now that took talent and was a great spectator sport...or how about ice sailing like they do in Madison??? Come on NBC...Come on Olympic committee, give me something we can sink our teeth into....like the ski jumper who personaified the agony of sport....we need more of that....now that's entertainment.....
