The 5:2 Diet! Does it work?

The hottest new diet craze is called the "fast diet".  

It's easy - eat whatever you want for five days, and then fast for two days.

Okay - don't completely fast - just be sure to only eat two light 300 calorie meals.

The secret to the diet is that when we fast our bodies go from being fat-storing centers to being fat-burning centers. By fasting for two days you end up burning up that fat you piled on in days before.

The diet was created by a medical journalist and is part of a best-selling book and documentary.
