Waiter is Hero for Standing Up For Child with Down Syndrome

This is an AWESOME story!  Wish there were more people in the world brave enough to stand up for what they believe...and what is RIGHT!

Waiter Story

From the Consumerist:

A woman named Kim Castillo lives in Houston and has a five-year-old son named Milo . . . who has Down's Syndrome.

--Earlier this month, Kim, Milo, and the rest of the family went out to a restaurant called Laurenzo's.  Everyone at the table, including Milo, was talking . . . but Kim says no one was being loud.   (--They don't say exactly WHEN this happened or who else was there.)

--But a party of four sitting near them complained to the waiter, Michael Garcia.  They asked to be moved to another seat and said, quote, "Special needs kids should be kept in special places."

--Instead of moving them, Michael told the group that he was offended and WOULDN'T be serving them tonight.  They left without eating.
