Duluth Flood Pics

Posted by Corey Carter on

My Hometown of Duluth, MN has been flooded, which is something I thought with it being built on a hill, would NEVER happen.  The town and surrounding area have been hit with continuous rain for the past 48 or so hours...in excess of 9" in some areas!

I heard one quote that said if this storm would have hit in the Winter, it would have dropped between 60-70 INCHES OF SNOW!!!!!!!!!

This is a once-in-a-lifetime flood.  Check out some of the craziest pics below:

Subway - London Rd

Brings a whole new meaning to "SUBWAY".  Wow, dedication.  Yes - we actually saw the video in which she walked across that to go to work.  Now THAT'S why people from Minnesota get HIRED!! lol!!  (Photo courtesy of the Edge Waterpark - Facebook page)

TThis is a view of Target/Savers on the Miller Hill.  THe "lake" you see here is usually the parking lot and very budy road in between the two...crazy!!

Thompson Dam Road Washed Out. Usually the water is 30-40 feet BELOW the bridge.  WOW!
