40% of twins make up their own language. This happens because they are developing language skills at the same time and at the same rate. Because twins spend so much time together they develop a way to communicate without using actual words before they learn to really talk. Once they learn real language their "twin language" will fade away.
My twins coo at each other, but it's not quite like they're communicating with each other yet. Not like the twins in this video. These two little ones are hilarious. The twin on the left must be a comedian the way the twin on the right cracks up.
