For some reason I'm on a "the little things make a big difference" kick lately with pro sports. I don't know why. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that my daughter is now of that age that she genuinely enjoys watching a baseball game on TV and genuinely understands when and for whom to cheer. The elation on her face when the Brewers do something (anything) positive is priceless. There's still an innocence in her eyes. The pedestals she's just begun to erect beneath the feet of her heroes of sport have yet to begin crumbling. I can only hope they hold their shape as long as this young lady's:
Nice work, Carlos.
