Six out of twenty-two stores tested by Nottinghamshire's County Council, during a recent undercover operation reportedly allowed an underage customer to purchase alcohol with a fake ID.
That wouldn't be so bad, if it weren't for the fact that the ID clearly belonged to one Bobby Hill..!!!! a fictitious, animated character from the TV show King of the Hill.
Oh, and also the fact that it listed the holder's age as 17.
Can you see it? Start counting and let me know how long it takes.
The ads for The Odd Life of Timothy Green bill it as the "feel good movie of the season". As you will see by the reaction of my two sons, they beg to differ
Passengers on a British Airways flight said they received only a "blase" apology when a recorded message mistakenly warned their plane was going down.
Duncan and Tracey Farquharson of London said they were on a Miami to London flight when the recorded message informed passengers of an "emergency" and said the plane would "shortly be making an emergency landing on water,"
"We looked at each other and figured we were both about to die. Families with children were distraught and people were in tears. It was very distressing," Duncan Farquharson said. "About 30 seconds later one of the cabin crew told us to ignore the announcement and accept their apologies but the tone of suggested they had not grasped how seriously we had taken it.
"Imagining yourself plunging towards a cold, watery grave in the middle of the Atlantic is a pretty horrific thought but they seemed very blase about it."
Have you had a bad experience with a plane ride?
LG wants to give your house a “smart” makeover, releasing a voice-controlled fridge that helps you diet and keeps track of your groceries, as well as ovens and washing machines that can be controlled via smartphone.
LG's Smart Refrigerator, announced today at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, comes with a “food management system” that allows users to check what's in their fridge from their smartphone, with granular details right down to the expiration date.
There are multiple ways to tell the fridge what items are inside. One way is to select from a range of preset items using the fridge's touchscreen but there is also voice recognition and the ability to scan grocery receipts or barcodes using your smartphone.

The Smart Refrigerator also includes a “health manager”, which will tell you recipes for things you can make based on what is in your fridge and the personal profiles of family members. LG says it takes into account age, gender, weight and body mass index to develop daily or weekly meal plans based on personal profiles.

This is the lesson that Los Angeles folk are being taught by a couple of attractive ladies.
In a bid to bust the passers-by who perve at their posteriors, one of the friends attached a hidden camera to her behind and then posted the footage online.
